Pay: Starting at $70,000 per year

The Children’s Home of Jefferson County is dedicated to enhancing lives through strong relationships. We strive to promote safety, permanency, and well-being for foster care youth and their families.

Position Overview:
The Clinical Coordinator for CHJC’s Foster Care Program plays a vital role in overseeing mental and behavioral health services for foster care youth. This position combines clinical supervision, program oversight, and direct service to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing clinical supervision and oversight for foster care staff.
  • Collaborating with treatment teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Facilitating training and support groups for foster families and staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and Office of Mental Health (OMH) regulations.
  • Assisting in crisis response and discharge planning for foster care youth.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in New York State as an LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LCAT, or LMFT.
  • Experience working with foster care youth and families (preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional non-traditional hours.
  • Includes travel within CHJC’s service area and participation in an on-call rotation.
