St. Lawrence County Invites Community Input for Sport Tourism Initiative

The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is launching a new initiative to enhance sport tourism in the North Country, aimed at fostering economic growth and community development through strategic planning. As part of this effort, the Chamber invites residents, businesses, and stakeholders to participate in a brief survey to gather insights crucial to shaping the future of sport tourism in the region.
With the consultation and expertise of Cimarron Global Solutions, the "St. Lawrence County Sport Tourism Initiative" seeks to capitalize on the area's natural beauty, recreational assets, and vibrant community spirit to attract visitors and stimulate local economies. By understanding the perspectives and preferences of community members, organizers aim to develop a comprehensive strategy that maximizes the impact of sport tourism on both economic and community levels.

"At this stage of the process, we are collecting input from a variety of stakeholders with a perspective on sport tourism in St. Lawrence County," said Tif Amo, Director of Tourism for the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. "Public feedback will play a pivotal role in shaping our approach, ensuring that our efforts align with the needs and aspirations of our communities."
The survey, designed to be completed in under 10 minutes, encourages participants to share their thoughts and ideas regarding opportunities, challenges, and preferences regarding existing and future sport tourism efforts to help inform strategic decisions moving forward.

The insights gathered will be analyzed to guide the development of initiatives that not only attract sport tourism but also strengthen community ties and support local businesses.
