Description
2024 CRAFT, FOOD & WINE OPEN-AIR MARKET
Presented by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce
The Craft, Food & Wine Open-Air Market is a unique event featuring handmade and value-added products from the North Country and beyond. 80+ Vendors will be set up throughout the St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum (SLPEM) exhibits and buildings, like a Market set along the 'streets' of this living history museum. Bring your wagons and prepare to shop local on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00am - 4:00pm! Admission is $5 cash per person (12 & under FREE). Join us during the last hour of the event for FREE from 3PM-4PM, sponsored by the St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union.
This annual event will mark it's 5th year presented by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and is modeled after the Craft, Food & Wine show usually held during the holiday season at Clarkson's Cheel Arena or at SUNY Potsdam's Maxcy Hall, with an outdoor, open-air model.
PARKING & ADMISSION
As the St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum continues to expand, so will our market! The new parking area and entrance will be near Fort Tribute and entry will be $5 per guest. SLPEM Volunteers will be offering free transportation services via golf carts as needed. Just request a ride at the admissions table!
ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The SLPEM preserves and teaches the history of how people of the North County of New York lived and how earlier technologies and events helped shape their lives. History comes alive through demonstrations, interpretive displays, living history and collections among historical and exhibit buildings. Set aside some time to discover the Museum in between your shopping! For more information about the SLPEM and to plan your visit, check out their website here!
PREPARED FOOD & DRINKS
Come hungry, there will be plenty of food options to enjoy this year! To better serve you - we will be offering a variety of menu items between the options you've traditionally enjoyed from volunteers at the SLPEM Pavilion along with a couple of local food trucks - NEW this year! Food offerings include:
- SLPEM Pavilion: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pizza, Ice Cream
- Morgan's Munchies: Smoked Meats & BBQ Items (Food Truck)
- Taco Time: Taco & Burrito Bowls (Food Truck)
Our friends from B99.3FM will joining us from 10:30am - 1:30pm, meet DJ Vinny to say hello while he broadcasts LIVE from the market!
Applications for the 2024 market are now closed:) Confirmed Vendors: Site plan/booth site numbers & load-in instructions will be emailed by the end of business day on Tuesday, Sept. 17th. For additional details, please refer to the vendor packet here.
