Jr. Software Developer (On-Site)

Job Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Development, you will be working in a customer-focused, innovative, challenging and fun learning environment. You will be responsible for the implementation of software tools producing various output formats optimized for accessibility, utilized by our customers’ blind and low vision end-users. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software.
  • Develop high quality and reliable software components.  
  • Work with fellow developers and quality assurance to implement features and fixes.
  • Contribute to the team’s best practices and development standards 

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • At least 1 year of actual work experience in software development environment (not including school projects and internships)
  • Experience with Windows environment and .NET programming
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, and databases
  • Knowledge of HTML and XML
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related
