Workforce Connections: University-Business Mixer
Building Futures - Internships & The Student Experience
Chamber members and employers are invited to connect with representatives from the member universities of the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley (Clarkson University, St. Lawrence University, SUNY Canton, and SUNY Potsdam) to explore the value of student internships and their impact on businesses, students’ academic growth, and the broader community.
The evening will begin with an employer-and-student panel, sharing real stories and lessons learned from successful internships. College leadership will then highlight how internships strengthen students, support employers, and contribute to the vitality of St. Lawrence County. The program will conclude with a networking mixer, offering employers, educators, and community members the chance to build meaningful connections.
Refreshments will be served, and a cash bar will be available by The Happy Hive LLC.
This event is hosted by the Associated Colleges of the St. Lawrence Valley, Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, and St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce.
