2024 TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE SCIENCE LECTURE
NASA Solar System Ambassador, Elaine Fortin, will present a science lecture featuring the 2024 Total Eclipse at the Potsdam Public Library on the main floor on Saturday, March 30th from 1:00 - 3:00pm. All ages are welcome. Elaine is a Solar System Ambassador (SSA), which is a volunteer position with the CalTech Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and is funded by NASA. There are some 1200 ambassadors across the country and world. SSA's are trained to do presentations in public venues, about astronomy and any of NASA's programs.
