All are invited to sample & pick up a recipe for Garbanzorizo, a marvelous melange of mysterious flavors; where Mexico meets the Middle East, featuring healthy garbanzo beans. This healthy and delicious legume is high in fiber, protein, folate, manganese, copper, phosphorus, iron, and zinc, and also contains thiamin, B-6, and trace minerals. Health benefits include helping to control blood sugar, helping to lose weight, balancing cholesterol levels, protecting against heart disease and cancer, and maintaining healthy blood pressure levels. After sampling Juanita's creation you are invited to join Rose Rivezzi for Shopping with Rosie between 4:30 and 5:30pm. She will give you a personalized tour of the Co-op where you can see how the bulk bins work or find out how to order through the Buying Club for deeper discounts.
