Description
18th Annual Ranlett Organ Recital
Rachel Laurin studied at the Montreal Conservatory, after which she became Associate Organist at St. Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal from 1986 to 2002. She was then named Titular Organist at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa from 2002 to 2006. Ms. Laurin now devotes herself to composition, recitals, master classes, and lectures.Well known as an improviser, Ms. Laurin has had many opportunities to perform and teach this art in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
