Description
Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County will host a Preserving Garlic Workshop on Thursday, August 24 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at their Harvest Kitchen. The flavor and benefits of garlic can be enjoyed year-round, because this plant can last for months in its whole form or be turned into other treats such as garlic powder or a flavorful paste. Extension educators and Master Food Preserver volunteers will walk participants though several methods that will make your taste buds rejoice. This class covers fermentation as well as dehydration. Class size is limited! Learn more, or to register for the workshop, visit HERE.
