Adirondack Loon Celebration!

Description

The Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation will be hosting a variety of loon-related events, including a presentation about the secret lives of nesting Adirondack loons, a concert by Celia Evans, an art show all about loons, delicious food by Green Goddess ($), children’s activities, silent auction, and more! Also a field trip ($25/person) in the morning to see some Adirondack loons (must pre-register for the field trip BEFORE Oct 1 at info@adkloon.org or 518-354-8636). Field trip participants will need to provide their own canoe or kayak, pfd (required), and paddle(s). Equipment can be rented at local outfitters (e.g., Adirondack Lakes & Trails Outfitters, St. Regis Canoe Outfitters, or Mac's Canoe Livery). Binoculars are recommended.
