Description
The 6th Annual North Country Folk Festival Canton, NY - is an all-day event, featuring eleven hours of music, from both local and nationally touring bands, a contra dance, theme dinner, biergarten, and many local vendors and demonstrators. The Festival is a family-friendly celebration of folk music, folk arts, local living, and traditional skills of the North Country. Coordinated by St. Lawrence University's Green House, the low-impact living theme cottage on campus, the event is on Saturday, April 15 from noon until 11:00 p.m. The festival will on the Old Java Quad located directly across from the Brewer Book Store at 92 Park Street. The event is free and open to the public. Musical performances by, Driftwood, Althea Jean, Dyado, Alex Smith and Jake Brillhart, Richard Hayes Phillips, Deep Freeze Contra Band and more!
