CANTON FLANNEL FEST
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce invites you to wear flannel and shop locally in Downtown Canton on Saturday, October 5th! Many downtown businesses will be hosting pre-holiday specials and fun throughout normal business hours. Grab your favorite flannel and discover Downtown Canton!
DOWNTOWN HIGHLIGHTS TO INCLUDE
Businesses will be open regular hours unless otherwise noted.
Little Italy (107 Main):
Bring a Receipt from Friday or Saturday from a downtown business and be entered to win a $25 gift certificate, with purchase.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Woodworking Geometric Artworks
Join teaching artist Kate Schuler at The TAUNY Center for a fun and creative free family drop-in workshop where you'll transform simple wooden lath pieces into geometric artworks! This hands-on experience encourages creativity to paint, assemble, and enjoy your collaborative artwork.
**These events are a part of Fall Family Weekend.
Canton Free Library (8 Park St):
The Canton Free Library will host a Bear Storytime for children from toddler up through early elementary ages at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 5th. There will be fun stories, songs, movement, and crafts. **This event is part of Fall Family Weekend.
St. Lawrence County Center for History & Culture (3 E. Main):
10% off sale in the Museum Gift Shop
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM | Explore Día de los Muertos Family Fun at the Silas Wright House! Learn about the history and customs of the Day of the Dead, celebrated in Central and South America and the United States. Families can make the traditional decorative paper, papel picado, to add to the altar, and create a sugar skull (calaverita) to take home. Children can also get their face painted with Halloween or Dia de los Muertos imagery for a small additional fee. **This event is part of Fall Family Weekend.
Nature's Storehouse (21 Main):
Enjoy free samples of Apple crisp and boba milk/oat milk tea.
Guests wearing flannel on October 5th will receive 50 points redeemable for Nature's merchandise and discounts.
