Description
JUSTICE, EQUITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
Join the United Way of Northern New York and Dr. Corey Campbell, Ed. D., as we explore the journeys of 4 North Country residents, whose real-life experiences have been impacted by their identity. This Town Hall Meeting is an opportunity to understand, appreciate and constructively discuss JEDI, as it applies to youth and adults in our community who are perceived as "different" based on their ethnicity, age, religious beliefs, gender or sexual orientation.
The panelists joining Dr. Campbell at this exclusive forum include two unique and diverse high school students, a Black public school teacher who works in a predominantly White school district, and a post-college gay may who has returned to Northern New York after graduation from Niagara University with a Bachelors in Social Work.
