Summer Festival at the Remington Museum

The Frederic Remington Art Museum is hosting the Remington Summer Festival this Saturday, June 19th from 10AM-5PM.  The Festival is the recreation of the Museum’s ever popular Wine, Beer, Cheese, Chocolate, & Artisan Festival which has been running for 6 years, but had to be postponed this past February. Admission is $5 per person.
 
There will be indulgences galore, all in the beautiful, historic setting of the Frederic Remington Art Museum. With over thirty food and beverage vendors to be included this year, the Festival is designated as a NYS Farmer’s Market event. Most of the offerings are locally produced and sold by regional artisans and vendors. The warmer weather of June allows the vendors to be evenly spread throughout the inside and outside spaces of the Museum to provide guests with a safe environment for a wonderful shopping experience.
 
Festival goers will be able to taste the offerings from our local wineries, breweries, and artisan food vendors before purchasing. There will also be craft vendors and food trucks onsite. Featuring: Coyote Moon Vineyard, Thousand Islands Winery, Tug Hill Vineyards, Lakeland Winery, River Myst Winery, Township 7 Brewing Company, Newcombe's Maple Ridge, Bechaz Riverdale Cheese, Irish Bee Honey, Not Your Average Cookie, Route 58 Popcorn, Old Saratoga Spice Rubs, Kaneb Orchards, Hidden Pastures Dairy Gelato, Kaboom Hot Chocolate, J. Hackett Cliff & Company Jelly and Jam, Applegrove Farm, Saratoga Crackers, Cosimano e Ferrari, The Cook Farm, Andrew Thomas Studio Pottery, Interlinkt, Font it Designs, TML Graphic & Sign, Grandma's Barn Quilts, Art by Maria, Eye Candy, The Wilted Rose, Donna Schaab Jewelry, Radiant Gem/RiverHouse Soap, St. Lawrence Soap Company, and River Rat Designs.
 
In addition, the Museum will be open for Festival goers to tour the Albert P. and Addie P. Newell Galleries filled with Remington’s art, the new Sally James Farnham exhibit, as well as the 2021 Members’ Juried Art exhibit now on display in the Richard E. Winter Gallery and Torrey Family Gallery. The exhibit is on display until September 12, 2021. Many of the works are for sale with one third of the proceeds benefiting the Frederic Remington Art Museum, and two thirds going to the artist. 
 
The Frederic Remington Art Museum is located at 303 Washington Street, Ogdensburg, NY 13669. The Frederic Remington Art Museum expands and deepens appreciation and understanding of Remington’s work by engaging contemporary audiences and keeping his legacy relevant. It is dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, preserving and interpreting the art and archives of Frederic Remington, and contains an unmatched collection of his works. The Museum is open year-round. Current visiting hours through October 14 are Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, 1 to 5 pm.
