We Ride Side by Side for DJ
Join STLC Trails, DeGrasse-Clare-South-Russell (DCSR) Volunteer Fire Department and Jockos II Bar & Grill for a group Fun Run on the Multi-Use Trails in Memory of DJ Ward on Saturday, July 8.
Sign ups begin at 10:00am at the Degrasse Fire Hall with the run beginning at 11:00am. A 50/50 Raffle will be drawn at 5:00pm at the last location of the ride.
DJ was a local community member who loved the outdoors. He fought and unfortunately lost his battle to Esophageal Cancer on November 12, 2021. His family has decided to always keep his memory alive, by helping others in his memory.
The event will donate all proceeds to two locals fighting the fight and will be handed to both individuals after the 50/50 drawing at the last stop of the ride.
