PRE-ECLIPSE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING
The Nicandri Nature Center will be hosting a series of family friendly Solar Eclipse Programs March 1st through April 7th. Star Crafts featuring classes for Eclipse Spinners Mar. 3 & 9 at 2pm | Mar. 14 & 27 at 3:30pm at the Nicandri Nature Center, 23 Robinson Road, Massena, NY.

What to Expect When You are Expecting an Eclipse
Learn all about solar eclipses with a lesson and activities that will ready you for the viewing on April 8th. Classes will take at place at 2:00pm on March 2, 16 & 17 and April 3 & 4.

Solar Crafts all day each day during spring break: April 1-7
Natural History Photography Club
Photography club members will discuss solar photography and their plans for the eclipse. The class will be held on Saturday, March 16th at 9:30AM.
Solar Astronomy Presentation
Elaine Fortin, Solar Systems Ambassador (NASA/JPL) and board member of the Adirondack Sky Center and Observatory in Tupper Lake, will present on how and when eclipses occur and why the the surrounding region will be experiencing it. The class will be held on Saturday, March 30th at 10AM.
Astronomy 101 for Kids and Families
Learn about our solar system and the sun. Make a pocket solar system guide to take home. Classes will take place on March 3rd at 10AM, 6th at 3:30PM, 24th at 2PM, 29th at 3:30PM and on April 6th at 2PM.
