Ogdensburg Free Academy student, Ryan McNally will be providing live holiday entertainment. View the new Remington masterwork on loan, an oil painting of a mounted Indian painted ca. 1889. The full color painting is signed, and inscribed Fort Sill, I.T. [Indian Territory.] Until the lender sent a digital image in July, this painting was unknown to scholarship. We are very grateful that the owners, Nathalie G. Bradley and the MacElwee Family, have chosen to make the Frederic Remington Art Museum the host of its public debut. Visit with Santa 2 PM - Santa Claus considers the Frederic Remington Art Museum a very important stop in his preparations for Christmas each year. Children (of all ages!) can visit with Santa and tell him their wishes for the holiday season. Children?s Stories 3 PM - Diane LaRock will be reading her new children?s book, Grandma?s Garden. Signed copies will be available as well as the newly released, Grandma's Garden Coloring Book. Art for Children noon ? 2 PM - Parents, while you shop, children are invited to make hot cocoa, sun catchers, and a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer head piece with Kayli Harradine. Ms. Harradine, Museum Education Specialist, will be in the Museum?s Hirschey Gallery from 12 to 2 PM. This activity is free for children. At 3pm, Ms. Harradine will be offering free holiday games throughout the museum. In Our Museum Shop; Bella Brook Winery will be offering holiday wine sampling and items for sale. 30% off all framed prints. 25% off all The End of the Day merchandise. Local Authors Attending: Barbara Briggs Ward will be signing copies of her Christmas Trilogy including The Reindeer Keeper, The Snowman Maker and her latest release, The Candle Giver, David J.
