Description
Writing grants is not just about the words you use, or the statistics you utilize. It is a complicated combination of factors to engage your grant makers so that they say "Yes!" and you win the grant award for your organization. In "Grant Writing 101: How to Write a Grant That Wins!", we will provide you with the basic knowledge of grant writing and an increased understanding of and comfort level with what elements go into a successful grant application once you have identified an opportunity you want to apply for. Diane H. Leonard, GPC, CSPO, CSM (DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing Services, LLC) is a Grant Professional Certified (GPC) and Approved Trainer of the Grant Professionals Association. Diane is also a Certified Scum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner through Scrum Alliance, Inc. Since 2006, Diane and her team have secured more than $61.6 million dollars in competitive grant awards for the clients of DH Leonard Consulting & Grant Writing Service. She is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association. She is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY with a Bachelor's of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. When not working with her team on grant applications for clients, Diane can be found in the 1000 Islands, out for a run, or drinking a strong cup of coffee.
