Description
The St. Lawrence Power and Equipment Museum (SLPEM) in Madrid, NY will be the host of the 40th Anniversary of the National Allis Chalmers Tractor gathering - the Gathering of the Orange Show (GOTO) June 9-11, 2023.
Why is it called the Gathering of the Orange you may ask? The reason is because Allis-Chalmers farm equipment is orange! There will be many Allis-Chalmers Tractors and also some equipment that was manufactured over the years, some of which are quite rare!
The Old Time Spring Exhibition Show will be taking place throughout the weekend. Fun for all ages! There is plenty to experience throughout the weekend with GOTO event highlights including: Tractor Parades, Tractor Pulls, Tractor Races & Kids Pedal Tractor Races. The SLPEM will host events including: a Women's Skillet Toss, Quilt Show, and an Attic Treasures Sale.
The St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum will also feature the following throughout their 'living history museum': Civil War Fort Tributes, Shingle and Sawmills, Blacksmith Shop, Carriage Barn, Sugar Shack, School House, Gas Station, Shoe Shop, Tractor Barn, General Store, Old Farmstead, Collections Building, a Log Cabin and live music.
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle, Chinese Auction. Food, ice cream, and drinks will be available to purchase along with apparel from the SLPEM and the GOTO show!
