2025 FROSTY FEST
Potsdam's Annual Snowman Competition
Build a snow person or creature in Ives Park with your family or friends as a part of the 5th annual Frosty Fest Snowman Competition in Potsdam on Saturday, January 25th! Bring items from home to make your snow creation special to be entered to win prizes in separate divisions for kids and adults. This event is FREE and open to all ages. In the event of no snow, a "No-snow date" is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st.
While your building (or watching!) enjoy FREE snacks and s’mores donated by Price Chopper and FREE hot beverages donated by Jernabi Coffeehouse around the campfire. Kids can also enjoy a Winter Story Walk by the Potsdam Public Library for kids during the judging process!
Competition Details:
- Register yourself or team at the Ives Park Gazebo
- Start building your snowman, snow woman, snow creature, or snow sculpture!
- Judging begins at 12:30pm for prizes.

This event is hosted by the SLC Arts Council, North Country Children’s Museum, and the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce.
