FILM SCREENING: COMMON GROUND
The award winning 2023 movie about regenerative agriculture “Common Ground”, featuring farmers and ranchers like Rick Clark and Alejandro Carrillo, will be screened at the Canton United Methodist Church on Friday September 27th at 7:00 p.m. Following the screening a panel discussion featuring local farmers will review highlights from the movie and their implications for St Lawrence County.

This movie asks the question: Can we feed our population of 333 million without damaging our natural habitat and worsening climate change? Unlike many “gloom and doom” environmental movies, Common Ground features the stories of farmers and ranchers who are restoring their lands while making money in the process.
