The Potsdam Food Co-op's Feature Friday Sampling is celebrating summer with S’more-making on Friday, July15th. Sampling will be held from 12 - 2pm featuring all of the makings for the best S’mores ever! Building a S’more is an art in itself! Begin by choosing between classic Annie's Organic Honey Graham Crackers, and two gluten-free Honey Grahams by Schar: Original, and one that is coated in rich dark chocolate for easy S’more-making. Both are non-gmo and free from gluten, wheat, lactose, and preservatives. Next, is the chocolate! Choose your favorite Equal Exchange Organic Chocolate: Classic Milk with caramelized sugar notes blended with creamy milk, soy and gluten-free, or Very Dark - rich and delicious, also soy and gluten-free. The final filling is the perfectly roasted, light and fluffy Dandies Marshmallow. Choose between Original and Maple. These plant-based Vegan Marshmallows are perfect for S’mores - kosher, non-gmo, and free from gluten, artificial flavors, colors, corn syrup, and gelatin. Top your creation with one more piece of graham cracker and enjoy! Making everything taste even better is the sale of the Original Dandies Marshmallows during July: 2 packages for $8. The Equal Exchange Chocolate bars will also be on sale during the entire month: 2 2.8oz bars for $7. The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm Street and open daily from 8am to 7pm, with curbside service available. It is a member-owned cooperative grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join.
