Description
Community Campfire - Finding Amphibians
Nature Up North's summer community campfire series is back! The first campfire of the year will be investigating the world of amphibians! Early June is the perfect time to find frogs, toads, salamanders, and more! The Kip Trail is a perfect ecosystem as well, with seasonal vernal pools throughout and the Little River right next door. We're bound to find all sorts of critters. After our walk in search of our croaking friends, we'll return to the Wachtmeister Field Station for a fire and s'mores! Our campfires start at 7 p.m. at the Field Station, located on the left after the bridge on Outer Park St. in Canton. We hope to see you there!
