Description
Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County will host a Preserving Fresh Herbs Workshop on Tuesday, July 18 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at their Harvest Kitchen. Herbs are essential ingredients to bring pizzazz to your meals. Preserving herbs from your garden or indoor growing pots is simple and can ensure you have delicious flavors at your fingertips throughout the year. Learn several techniques for preserving fresh herb flavors in this class led by Extension educators and Master Food Preserver volunteers. Preservation topics include freezing, dehydrating, and fermenting of both perennial and annual herbs. Class size is limited! To learn more or register for the workshop, visit HERE.
