Description
Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County will host a Flavorful Hot Sauces Workshop on Thursday September 14, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at their Harvest Kitchen. Spice up your life with ingredients from your garden or farmer’s market with flavorful hot sauces. Master Food Preserver and Master Gardener volunteers will demonstrate how to create multiple hot sauce recipes using hot peppers, tomatoes, and more! The recipes covered will include examples of raw freshly blended sauces as well as cooked sauces, each of which offers unique flavor profiles. In hands-on learning, participants will also make these recipes and can bring home a jar of their product. The class will cover fermentation, freezing, and water bath canning methods. Class size is limited! To learn more or register for the workshop, visit HERE.
