Location
Launch at the Heuvelton Boat Launch off Lisbon St./Horseshoe Rd. in Heuvelton, NY.
Finish is at Smugglers Cafe Boat Launch (below the Ogdensburg Dam). There are restrooms located at Smugglers Cafe, 54 East River Street, Ogdensburg NY 13669.
There will be no shuttle service! Parking is available at the finish line behind Smugglers Cafe in a large unpaved field.
Two buoys will mark both the start and finish lines.

Fees/Admission
Registration Fee: $10 (a PayPal link to pay will be sent via email after submitting the preregistration form or you may pay with cash/check payable to :St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers at the race start). Please have exact cash or check as no change will be provided.

Description
The 2020 Remington I is a 10.5 mile downstream race on the Oswegatchie River from Heuvelton to Ogdensburg, N.Y. The course is flatwater, however there are two portages*, one around the Eel Weir Dam at the six mile mark, and the final portage around the Ogdensburg Dam. The finish line will be at Smugglers Cafe Boat Launch.
This is NOT a Seaway Festival event in 2020, but will return as a Seaway Sponsored event in 2021.
*The finish line may be moved upstream (race shortened) eliminating the final portage due to water level concerns on race day.
