Temple Beth El Food Festival 2016 Press Release To kick off the holiday season, Congregation Beth El will be having its 38th Annual Food Festival on Sunday, December 4 from 11 AM until 4 PM at the synagogue, located at 81 Market Street, in Potsdam. The main floor of the temple will serve as a bakery and gift shop. The bakery features fresh breads and challah for purchase from Montreal, as well as mouth-watering home baked delicacies. The gift shop has a variety of Hanukkah items such as candles, dreidels, menorahs, decorations and jewelry. Also available will be gifts for adults and children of all ages - get your holiday shopping done early! Join us downstairs for lunch, buffet-style, where we will be serving hearty holiday treats such as traditional latkes and blintzes, bagels and cream cheese, soup with matzo balls, hummus, potato knishes, falafel in pita and delicious kugel. There will be New York style cheesecake and other delectable treats for dessert. The Beth El Food Festival has always been great fun—the one time of year when you can eat wonderful Jewish cooking even if you don’t have a Jewish mother!
