It’s easy to get lost in the world Remington creates, but it’s important to step back and see his work in context. He painted his iconic Old West scenes during a time when America was buzzing with progress and innovation! In this session, discuss placing his work back in its historical setting - who were his contemporaries, and whose paintings would have been hanging alongside his?
This program is an on-site/virtual hybrid; participants can join the conversation remotely via Zoom or in person at the Museum.
