Description
Apple pie, applesauce, apple cider, dried apples, baked apples – there are so many ways to enjoy apples! Learn how to make some of these apple treats at 11am on October 10th, 2015, at the next Second Saturday Children’s Program at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St., Canton. Kids can learn about (and sample!) some of the many ways that people have historically enjoyed apples, try their hand at an old-fashioned cider press, and make an individual apple tart. This is another in the SLCHA’s series of fun and free monthly educational programs for kids ages 4-8 and their caregivers. Siblings are always welcome too!
