4TH OF JULY EVENTS
NORWOOD, NY
Celebrate Independence in Norwood with TWO fun filled days of events featuring fireworks by the Norwood Volunteer Fire Department, a demolition derby, block dance, and their annual parade with special performances!
Thursday, July 3
- 7pm: Norwood Brass Fireman performing on the Norwood Village Green.
- While the traditional block dance will not be held this year, attendees can enjoy an evening treat from an ice cream truck stationed nearby.
- 10:30am - 3:00pm: Kids activities on the Village Green: Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Ice Cream Truck, Bounce Houses by Let's Bounce Inflatables, Face Painting by Belly Buttons the Clown
- 1pm: Parade feat. Brockville Pipes and Drums. The parade will go down straight to the end of Spring St., cross route 56 onto Bicknell St. and then will end turning right onto Morgan St., ending at the Firemen's Field.
- 2pm: Demolition Derby at the Fireman's Field ($5 per person, children under 10 enter for free)
- Dusk: Fireworks Display at the Fireman's Field
