2nd Annual Coffee Fever Frying Pan Toss

Welcome to the coldest thing you will ever do with a skillet.  Below are the official Toss Rules.  

1. Skillet will be provided.  No practicing prior to event, except in your own backyard!  Everyone in a division throws the same skillet.

2. Divisions:  

Small Fry – 0-6 years old (throwing a wooden frying pan) Free

Kids 7-12 years old (6 inch skillet) Free

Ladies – 13 and older (9 inch skillet) $2 entry fee

Gentlemen – 13 and older (13 inch skillet) $2 entry fee

3. No food allowed on the pan.  Absolutely no cooking in the pan during the event.

4. No special resin allowed on hands before tossing.

5. Throw underhand.

6. Decapitation of any spectator is grounds for immediate disqualification from current and future events.   

7. Winner is selected based on distance after the pan comes to a complete stop.  Pan must remain on the course.  Otherwise, where the pan hits the ground has no bearing on the final decision of the judges.

8. Best of two throws.  You may only throw twice.  No designated throwers allowed.

9. Steroid use will not be tolerated.  Espresso use is encouraged.

10. Judge’s decisions will be final.

11. Costumes are encouraged, but have nothing to do with the actual rules of the event.

12. Clothes are mandatory.

13. All rules can be changed at the whim of the judges.  This rule is subject to change.
