The Ogdensburg History Museum is excited to announce a new series of "Genealogy for Beginners" workshops led by veteran genealogist and fan-favorite presenter, Dale Sheldon. These hands-on sessions are designed to help residents navigate the rewarding journey of tracing their family history.
Beginning this spring, Sheldon will guide participants through the essential steps of building a family tree, from mastering census records to breaking through "brick walls" in their research.

What to Expect:
Participants will gain practical skills in several key areas, including:

Specialized Assistance: Finding documentation for Canadian citizenship certificates.
To get the most out of these sessions, the use of a computer is highly recommended, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops.
