TOTAL ECLIPSE PROGRAMMING
AT THE NORTH COUNTY CHILDREN'S MUSEUM
The North Country Children's Museum is hosting a series of Total Eclipse Programming every Saturday leading up to to the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse! Each weekend will provide educational themed hands-on activities that will get your children excited about the eclipse. The Total Eclipse/Family Science Program will take place at the North Country Children's Museum located at 10 Raymond Street in Potsdam, NY from 11am-12pm, Saturdays starting March 9th. Price for admission is included with tickets to the museum or museum membership.
PRE-ECLIPSE PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE
March 9th | Make Your Own Bottle Rocket
March 16 | The Cup Drop Gravity Experiment
March 23 | Anti-Gravity Galaxy in a Bottle
March 30 | Make and Launch a Rocket
April 6 | Pop a Balloon Using the Sun's Energy
TOTAL ECLIPSE VIEWING EVENT
April 8 | The museum is also hosting a FREE Outdoor Community Viewing Event during the eclipse from 1:00pm-3:30pm in Garner Park, adjacent to the museum's parking lot. Create a memorable experience with your children and enjoy family activities led by a NCCM Science Educator while you wait for the moment of Totality. Solar eclipse glasses will be provided.
