SLVP Remington II Canoe, Kayak and SUP Race

Description

The Remington II is a 6 mile downstream race on the Oswegatchie River from Rensselaer Falls to Heuvelton, NY. The course is primarily flatwater, however there are two short sets of Class I rapids which may be run or portaged depending on the water level. Following the awards ceremony, there is an option for paddlers to paddle back upstream to the starting line or they may arrange to leave a vehicle at the finish for the one way paddle. Launch is on West Front Street, Rensselaer Falls, NY. Look for the St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers banner!

• Recreational Class Race Starts at 10:00am

• Awards at 11:45am

Race Fees:
C-1/C-2, K-1/K-2 & SUP Preregistration Fees/Person. Additional $5 for race day registrants.
