2016 Potsdam Sandstone Festival "Celebrating St. Lawrence County's Built Heritage" Join the Potsdam Public Museum for a scenic walk in the woods to explore the Sandstone Valley Trail. Learn about the geological history of Potsdam Sandstone and the history of the sandstone quarries that once existed along the Raquette River. Meet at the Trail Head in Hannawa Falls on Mill Street across from the Fire Station. Please, do not park at the Fire Station. Please call the Potsdam Public Museum for more information: 315-265-6910. Suggested $5.00 donation. All donations help support the programs, exhibits, collections, and activities of the Potsdam Public Museum.
