PREPARE FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME SOLAR ECLIPSE IN NNY
Prepare for the Solar Eclipse taking place on April 8, 2024
On Tuesday, January 30th, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, you are invited to a free presentation about the upcoming solar eclipse, on the main floor of the Potsdam Public Library, at 2 Park St., Potsdam. The speaker is Elaine Fortin, a Solar System Ambassador (a program run by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and funded by NASA) and a Trustee of the Adirondack Sky Center. She will explain what all the excitement is about and help you prepare for it. Don't miss this eclipse, it won't happen again here in the north country in our lifetimes.
