Description
It is not too early to start creating or looking to improve your North Country summer garden; indeed, the upcoming winter is the season to make such plans. A special workshop entitled "Organic Gardening Planning & Practices" will feature Daniel Martin of Martin's Needham Road Farm Stand, sharing his proven techniques and strategies for a successful garden.
The Local Living Venture will offer this workshop on Saturday, October 10 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. as part of it's year-round Resourceful Living Skills Workshop program.
Martin will cover the basics of tilling, harvest, cover cropping & much more to prepare gardeners for the upcoming Winter planning season. Participants will gain new skills and insight as they walk the fertile fields at Daniel and Mendy Martin's farm.
