An Open House and Art Festival is held at the Red Barn Preserve and Trails in Morristown. Tour the beautifully renovated Red Barn Preserve Farmhouse. Watch the visual chronology of the 3 year work, Local and notable artisans will demonstrate their skills. MaryAnn Evans(Pottery), Debra Monteith(Jewelry), Jack Taylor( Carving) Pam Winchester(Barn Art). Introducing Morristown Student artists, who will draw out on the Preserve Trails. There are two very knowledgeable presenters: Scott Ouderkirk, The History of Skiffs and Dr. Jessica Rogers, Professor of Environmental Studies who will discuss her study of the the invasive" Purple Haze" that can be seen on the trails. Mini tours are included. The Silent Auction has exceptional and quality artisan items for bidding. For all day entertainment, the band Non Committals will perform. There will be a food vendor.
