Natural Egg Dyeing Workshop
Join Director Carlene Bermann & artist Sara Lynch to learn techniques for dyeing Easter eggs with vegetables, plants, and spices. You will also learn how to create intricate patterns on your eggs using old silk clothing and foraged materials, like leaves and flowers. Dye your own eggs on-site, or decorate pre-dyed eggs. To color eggs, you can choose from a variety of natural materials, such as coffee, turmeric, cabbage, and foraged plants. We will also be using vintage silk scraps to transfer dye onto eggs for a unique look. Recommended for Ages 4+. Spaces are limited. Pre-registration recommended. All materials will be provided at the workshop.
