Little River Ramble Canoe & Kayak Race
Hosted By: The St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers
This early season canoe and kayak race is held on the Little River in Canton, NY next to the campus of St. Lawrence University. This is a very low key event on waters protected from spring winds by high banks and woods.
The race will start and finish is at the Little River Boat Launch next to the Park Street (County Route 27) bridge, Canton NY. Recreational races are approximately 2 miles long. Marathon class races are approximately 6 miles long. The course will depend on water conditions on race day.
Race Classes
- Recreation: Men, Mixed, Adult/Junior, Rec Unlimited Open, College Challenge
- Marathon: C-1, C-2, K-1, K-2, C-4, College Challenge, Voyager Canoe
- Final race classes will be determined on race day. There is no pro class, but there will be a separate college class.
