EMPTY BOWLS
Join the Empty Bowls ceramicist movement to fight hunger at the 1844 House on Monday, November 6th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement, by artists and crafts people from around the world, to raise money for food related charities caring for and feeding the hungry in their communities. The international effort starts with local potters making bowls and adding in some soup! Attendees get to keep their handmade bowl as a reminder of real food insecurities, both locally and globally.
All proceeds from the event will support our local SLC Community Development Program. Donations are $30 per seat or $25 with donation of canned food or coat. Donations include a locally made bowl filled with stew and a light dessert.
Reservations are required. To reserve your seat, contact the 1844 House at 315-268-1844.
Enjoy good company, music and stew while supporting a great cause!
