Board and Management Leadership Training – A collaboration of the GrasseRoots Fund, the St. Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, and Tedra L. Cobb & Associates
Understanding our Financial Obligations
Serving on a board or in a leadership role has many obligations and understanding your fiduciary responsibility is paramount to ensuring you meet your organization’s mission. Come to this training with questions and concerns and walk away with clarity.
What we will learn:
- Review legal and financial duties required of board members
- Identify roles and responsibilities of the board and the chief executive in the oversight of the organization
- Analyze current board activities and identify areas of change and improvement
- Explore ongoing training steps to ensure on-boarding and educating new board members to ensure their success
