DESCRIPTION:HOSPICE OF ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY PRESENTS: SWIM A MILE FOR HOSPICE\n\nSwim a Mile for Hospice asks participants to take on swimming a mile while fundraising for Hospice. This event allows swimmers to select whatever group they fit in the best with while swimming in support of our important work. Different groups have different length courses. Meet up on Norwood Beach the morning of Saturday\, August 5th at 7:00am to go the extra mile for Hospice this summer!\n\n\n\nRegistration is open to ages 10 and Up. 1/2 Mile & 1/4 Mile Courses also available and a light breakfast & snacks will also be served at registration. The virtual fundraising event kicks off on July 1st. Swimmers fundraise until the date they will meet up to complete their swimming\, and have the month of July to meet their fundraising goal.\n\n\n\nAfter completing the online registration\, a personal fundraising link is generated for you to share via email or social media to encourage donations to support your activity. All participants receive a Swim a Mile pack which includes and event T-shirt\, finisher sticker\, and water bottle. Invite your friends or get the whole family involved with our Team Fundraising feature.\n\n\n\nYour personal fundraising page is the easiest way to collect donations for your activity. Share your page with friends\, relatives\, and neighbors via email or social media. *Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers\, top team and top school. Additional prizes will be awarded to everyone who raises $250 or more!
