Regional tourism businesses\, partners\, partners\, and supporters are encouraged to attend.\n\n\n\nThe St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host a celebration of the tourism industry in the county providing an opportunity to recognize and reward excellence\, encourage the highest standard in visitor experience\, and emphasize the value of the tourism sector. This year's 8th annual event will be hosted at the Freight House in Ogdensburg\, on Wednesday\, June 4\, starting at 5:00pm. \n\n\n\nThe theme of the dinner will be "Tourism at Home" and how tourism positively effects the quality of life for St. Lawrence County residents\, including upcoming tourism initiatives from The Chamber.\n\n\n\nThe evening will kick-off with happy hour and networking\, followed by a buffet dinner\, presentations and awards. All industry partners encouraged to attend and benefit from the impact that tourism brings to St. Lawrence County!\n\n\n\nINSPIRATIONAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER\n\nJosiah Brown\, The New York Sherpa\n\nJosiah will take you through the rapidly evolving landscape of destination advocacy to educate and inspire STLC businesses and residents on the impacts of tourism.\n\n\n\nJosiah Brown\, widely known as "The New York Sherpa\," is the founder of Destination Marketing Inc.\, a company dedicated to helping destinations and tourism businesses grow through strategic marketing. With a deep passion for travel and exploration\, Josiah has spent the last two decades guiding organizations nationally in the tourism industry\, providing insights\, training\, and leadership to enhance visitor experiences. As "The New York Sherpa\," he has become a trusted advisor and keynote speaker\, helping destinations navigate the evolving landscape of tourism and hospitality. His expertise and enthusiasm continue to inspire businesses to connect with travelers in meaningful ways.\n\n\nThe STLC Chamber is the designated Tourism Promotion Agent for St. Lawrence County. In this role\, their dedicated tourism team works closely with I Love New York and the New York State Matching Funds Program\, along with engaging in active partnership with the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council and the Thousand Islands International Tourism Council in order to showcase St. Lawrence County to visitors in New York State and surrounding US states as well as throughout bordering areas of Canada. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n2025 STLC TOURISM EXCELLENCE AWARDS\n\nCongratulations to this years winners!
