DESCRIPTION:The Frederic Remington/Rip Friot Memorial Seaway Festival Canoe\, Kayak & SUP Race (Rem I) is a 10-mile downstream race on the Oswegatchie River from Heuvelton to Ogdensburg\, NY. The course is flatwater\, however there is one shallow water section by Eel Weir State Park and one short portage around the Eel Weir Dam at the six mile mark. SLVP is proud to be a co-sponsor of this race with the Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival. Race day registrations will also be accepted for an additional $5 fee. All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to competing. Launch is located at the Heuvelton Board Launch off Lisbon Street/Horseshoe Road in Heuvelton\, NY. \n\n\n\nCheck-in Begins at 8:30am\n\n\n\nRace Start Times:\n\n	First Line: 9:30am\n	Second Line: 10:00am\n\n Two buoys will mark both the start and finish lines.\n\n\n\nRace Finish is 12:30pm at the boat launch\, rive left\, under the Lafayette Street Bridge in Ogdensburg.\n\n\n\nPortable toilets will be available at the start and finish launch and landing sites.\n\n\n\nResult will be posted following the race.\n\n\n\nPreregistration Race Entry Fees:\n\n\n	$20 Solo Canoe\, Kayak or SUP\n	$35 Tendem Canoe or Kayak\n	$50 C-4 Canoe\n	Add $5 for Race Day Registrations\n\n Exact change or check payable to: Ogdensburg International Seaway Festival is due on race day.
