He currently works as a clinical therapist for TLS of NNY.  He provides agency and community trainings in a wide range of topics including anger expression\, DSM 5 diagnoses and treatments\, co-dependency\, engagement skills\, motivational interviewing\, substance use and treatment\, creative expressions\, and provider self-care among them. He has 16 years of experience teaching psychology on the college level and over 32 years of experience as a therapist\, mentor\, clinical supervisor\, and director of a variety of community mental health programs including both inpatient and outpatient mental health centers\, day treatment programs\, case management programs\,  and two partial hospital centers. He is a CPR and First Aid instructor\, Mental Health First Aid Instructor for children and adults\, and is working towards certification as a tobacco cessation specialist. He has a passion for assisting people in discovering their strengths\, loves to play sax in a variety of bands in the area\, and being a father of two wonderful world traveling children\, Jake and Sierra.
