SUMMARY:Potsdam Co-op’s Annual Baking Fest 2020 Edition fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The Potsdam Food Co-op will hold Baking Fest Week beginning December 27th\; a special 2020 Edition of its 23rd Annual Holiday Baking Fest. As always\, the event will benefit the Potsdam Neighborhood Center's food bank. This year because of Covid-19 restrictions\, we will not be able to gather to celebrate the season\, sample delicious treats made by friends and neighbors\, or bid on a favorite in the Auction Showcase. Even though this is unlike any previous Baking Fest year\, we cannot let it go by without at least celebrating with special treats and raising needed funds for the Center. Perhaps now more than ever\, is a time to celebrate traditions\, connections\, and helping others. Baking Fest Week will be made possible by the Co-op's Carriage House Bakery staff. They will be re-visiting Baking Fests Past and re-creating a selection of winning entries. These winners will be available for sale on the store shelves during the week and can also be special ordered\, with proceeds from their sales being donated to the Neighborhood Center. We invite our generous bakers of the past\, and those who were planning to bake this year\, to please consider contributing the cost of the ingredients to the Baking Fest donation box in the store.
