DESCRIPTION:NORWOOD BEACH DUATHLON\n\nNorwood Beach will hold their third and final event of their summer Duathlon series on Wednesday\, August 23. A duathlon is athletic event that combines 2 different types of movement\, in this case biking and running. Participants will begin with a 1.5 mile run before hopping on a bike for 8 miles\, finally capped off by a second 1.5 mile run to the finish line. Registration will take place at Norwood Beach from 5:00pm - 6:00pm with the event kicking off at 6:00pm. The Duathlon Series is open to the public and teams and individuals are welcome.\n\n\n\nAll bikers will be required to wear a helmet and participants under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian's signature. Cost is $10 per participant for the remaining of the series. \n\n\n\nFor more information about the Duathlons\, please contact Michelle at 315-535-9965 or visit the Norwood Beach Facebook Page. The event is subject for cancellation pending inclement weather conditions.
