DESCRIPTION:NORWOOD BEACH DUATHLON\n\nNorwood Beach will hold their second event of their summer Duathlon series on Wednesday\, July 26. A duathlon is athletic event that combines 2 different types of movement\, in this case biking and running. Participants will begin with a 1.5 mile run before hopping on a bike for 8 miles\, finally capped off by a second 1.5 mile run to the finish line. Registration will take place at Norwood Beach from 5:00pm - 6:00pm with the event kicking off at 6:00pm. The Duathlon Series is open to the public and teams and individuals are welcome.\n\n\n\nAll bikers will be required to wear a helmet and participants under the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian's signature. Cost is $10 per participant for the remaining of the series. \n\n\n\nFor more information about the Duathlons\, please contact Michelle at 315-535-9965 or visit the Norwood Beach Facebook Page. The event is subject for cancellation pending inclement weather conditions. \n\n\n\nThe third and final Duathlon of the series will take place on Wednesday\, August 23.
