Board members will identify the key competencies and skills needed for key positions within the organization and will learn to create and conduct interviews that are fair\, defensible and that result in the best hiring outcomes.\n\n \n\nWhat we will learn:\n\n	Review the research and business case for behavioral/skills-based interviewing \n	Recognize the impact of a bad hire on the organization and its mission\n	Recognize of the elements and process of a behavioral interview\n	Evaluate legal and illegal interview questions \n	Practice constructing a skills-based job description\, interview questions and evaluation matrix\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\nIt is an honor to serve on a non-profit board. Along with that honor is a responsibility to bring our best skill sets to our organizations so that they can grow and thrive.
